Grass hopper tennis

WALT: improve our small ball skills like catching, throwing, and hitting.

Description: We have been participating in a tennis programme with Big John (John Salisbury) from Tennis Manawatu. He has taught us some tennis skills that help with controlling and hitting the ball
Why? To reflect on how we are going with the tennis skills we have learnt. We will share this during our Student Led Conference.
When? Week 8
Who? The World

Task: complete the rubric with targets to show your reflection. Make a comment to the questions below?

What are you most proud of and why?
I'm most proud of being able to do a temple throw in grass hopper tennis because I never new what it was and I didn't know how to do it and then I found out I'm pretty good at it.

What challenged you the most and Why?
That would probably be cut the cheese because I never really have been able to do it because of the way it was invented.

Next time, what is a goal you can work towards?
Maybe getting heaps of practice on cut the cheese.

  1. Great post Devin. It was tricky 'slicing the cheese'. I wonder what you could do to achieve your goal?
